Jason is a Co-Founder and General Partner at Bull City Venture Partners and has been a venture capitalist for over 25 years. 

His career began in investment banking and business consulting at Harrison Hurley and Company in Providence, RI. He later joined the finance group at Red Hat, where he served through the company’s IPO in 1999. Since co-founding BCVP, Jason has partnered with founders from seed stage through exit; notable past investments and board roles include ChannelAdvisor (IPO), WeddingWire (merged with The Knot), Etix (acquired), and Contactually (acquired by Compass).

Jason currently serves on the boards of Levitate and Tiga AI. He is also an active member of the regional investment ecosystem, serving on the Investment Advisory Board for Virginia Venture Partners and the Organizing Board for Mindshare, a network for Washington, DC-area CEOs.

Jason received his BS in Finance from Bentley University. He lives in Raleigh, NC, with his wife and three children.
